Mandala Jewels has been in operation since 1978. The home base for Mandala Jewels is Austin,TX. The jewelry is designed by Natasha La Gitana, who has been inspired by a particular type of ethnic jewelry representing a tiny form of the "god's eye" found in Mexico, Central, and South America. The symbol of the god's eye is colorful as the rainbow, and is displayed on the doors of houses in order to invite beauty into the house and into people's lives.
Because this jewelry coordinates well with all types of clothing, both ethnic and modern, as well as all types of costumes, it has been exhibited at National Fashion and Boutique Shows, juried art shows, music festivals, and Renaissance Festivals.
